Hello beautiful people! Welcome to another episode of Village Mentality!
In this week's episode, "Is There Wisdom in Trauma?" What can we learn from trauma? During the healing process, I believe that there's an opportunity for us to learn more about ourselves and each other, deepening relationships and personal connections with one another. Those who experience trauma also might develop a deeper sense of connection to something larger than themselves, whether it is spiritual or religious in nature or just the world as a whole.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Let's continue to talk about some of the myths and the facts concerning our thoughts and perceptions about mental health. Also, check out who I will be highlighting in Black History Wednesday.
