Fantasy Faulkn Football Wk 14 QB CALM Phillip Rivers @ Panthers $6,600 (CAR ranks 27th vs QB's, SD very much in the playoff hunt will rely on OFF) Cam Newton vs Chargers $7,200 (SD ranks 16th vs QB, after the embarassing showing vs SEA Cam and the panthers have to play for pride) Eli Manning vs Cowboys $5,500 (DAL ranks 17th vs QB's, another pride game and since DAL will likely get up they will throw the ball) Brock Osweiler @ Colts $5,300 (IND ranks 30th vs QB's, best game this season was vs IND, no Dqwell Jackson, a lot of throwing + possible garbage yds) CAUTION Tom Brady vs Ravens $7,100 (BAL ranks 9th vs QB's, No Gronk and if BAL can shut down Blount then Brady will be prime for a beating, don't like it) Big Ben @ Buffalo $7,000 (BUF ranks 12th vs QB's, Winter weather in BUFF can derail fantasy pts, staying away in DFS) SNEAKY PLAY Matt Barkley @ Lions $5,000 (DET ranks 22nd vs QB's, he puts up #'s and an indoor game at a cheap price is worth the start) RB CALM DeMarcco Murray vs Broncos $7,000 (DEN 23rd vs RB's, the way to beat them is on the ground. TENN won't put the game on Mariota) Matt Forte @ Niners $6,800 (SF 32nd vs RB's, SF is just bad Run D, with Petty starting NYJ will want to control the clock via run game) Rex Burkhead @ Browns $3,500 (CLE 30th vs RB's, Rex continues to get an opportunity. If they get up early he will get the garbage yards & at that price he's a solid Flex.) CAUTION LaGarrette Blount vs Ravens $5,300 (BAL ranks 3rd vs RB's, no Gronk hurts the run game & Ravens are just too good) DeVontae Booker @ Titans $4,800 (TENN ranks 5th vs RB's, avg under 2 YPC, just not a good RB right now) SNEAKY PLAY Rob Kelley @ Eagles $4,200 (PHI ranks 10th vs RB's, but Rob is a true workhorse & against a PHI DEF that has been down lately there is a lot of value) WR CALM Doug Baldwin @ Packers $6,800 (GB ranks 21st vs WR's, possible shootout if weather permits. Good price for a #1 against a struggling GB Secondary) Demaryius Thomas @ Titans $6,000 (TENN ranks 31st vs WR's, an atheltic freak at a great price against a slumping secondary) DeSean Jackson @ Eagles $5,200 (PHI ranks 25th vs WR's, DJAX has a history, his QB is hot, PHI has struggled recently = Good value) CAUTION Julio Jones vs Rams $8,500 (LA ranks 28th vs WR's but JJ is battling turf toe & they can easily win this game without him, not worth the $ this wk) Jordy Nelson vs Seahawks $6,800 (SEA ranks 8th vs WR's, Jordy will likely get Sherman, he's no longer good enough to beat him consistently, bad weather, no thanks) Stefon Diggs @ Jaguars $6,500 (JAX ranks 5th vs WR's, even in PPR the TD's and yds inconsistenty is too much room for error against a very talented JAX Secondary) SNEAKY PLAY Corey Coleman vs Bengals $4,400 (RG3 is back & his best trait is the deep ball, CC best trait is catching them, garbage yds opp) TE CALM Jimmy Graham @ Packers $5,500 (GB ranks 26th vs TE, middle of the field will be open vs this struggling GB LB core) Jason Witten @ Giants $3,100 (NYG rank 22nd vs TE, made a career out of torching NYG, DAL OFF likely to get Red Zone OPP's) CAUTION Jordan Reed/Vernon Davis @ Eagles $5,900/$3,500 (PHI ranks 2nd vs TE's, a very athletic LB core for PHI can handle most TE's) Martellus Bennett vs Ravens $4,200 (BAL ranks 7th vs TE's, even with Gronk out Bennett hasn't produced and is dealing with constant injury) SNEAKY PLAY Will Tye vs Cowboys $2,800 (DAL ranks 27th vs TE's, I anticipate a high scoring game & at that price the value is high) DEF CALM Falcons vs Rams $3,100 (LA ranks 30th vs DEF's, Goff is giving up the ball, LA isn't very good = great value at that price) CAUTION Broncos @ Titans $3,800 (TENN is a good OFF & this smells like a trap game, not worth Top 5 $) SNEAKY PLAY Bills vs Steelers $2,500 (Snow showers expected in BUFF, slippery conditions, higher chance of Turnovers at the $ I love the value)
