Paramahansa Yogananda said in his Autobiography of a Yogi that because God as the Infinite Absolute is beyond all qualities, “human thought and yearning have ever personalized It as the Universal Mother.” In this talk, Brother Anandamoy, a beloved minister of Self-Realization Fellowship, discusses Paramahansa Yogananda’s wisdom about God as the Divine Mother and how we, too, can awaken a greater awareness of the Divine Mother’s all-embracing presence and unconditional love She has for us as Her children. This talk, given at the 1981 SRF Convocation in Los Angeles, captures the characteristic warmth, humor, and penetrating insight of Brother Anandamoy (1922 – 2016).
