There was a time that radio made a huge impact on our world and our lives. Even though radio still commands a large audience globally, things have changed over this past half century or more. AM Radio is now celebrating around 100 years of service. Along with AM and FM radio, Shortwave Radio, in use for at least 90 years, has a unique place in history and even today. For decades shortwave radio was the link to many oppressed nations, and a way to communicate to a world-wide audience. On this program Bob welcomes Dan Robinson. Dan was with the Voice of America for 34 years, with 4 years as the Whitehouse Correspondent. Dan shares some of his memories and his thoughts about International Radio.
