In this week's episode, Rae and Charlotte discuss the case of Lauren Smith-Fields. 23 year old Lauren was found dead after a date with an "older white man" who she met on Bumble. Rae and Charlotte discuss the timeline of events up to the time of recording (January 30. 2022) and the concerns about the department's handling of the investigation. The investigation really only gained national attention when armchair detectives on TikTok rallied around the case.
