Proveglia Island is located in the Venetian lagoon in Italy and to this day it is abandoned by the living, but inhabited by the dead. Once used as a quarantine island for people suffering from the black plague, a location to send mentally ill patients, and the elderly, Proveglia Island has seen countless forms of torture and deaths, which may explain why it is so haunted.
