The girl, feeling his eyes upon her, momentarily paused feasting, and in a very small voice said, "So...can I still eat?" Everyone nearby, including me - laughed out loud. The boy, feeling helpless, quickly said, "Eat, eat.." Supplementary Vocab/Phrases: 你怎么有这么一大堆衣服？ Nǐ zěnme yǒu zhème yī dà duī yīfú?
