On this week’s episode of Embracing Your Season, host Paige Clingenpeel has Jeff Hamilton, the founder of Dad Academy on the show. Jeff has a passion for helping dads find their purpose, passion, intimacy on a deeper level with God and finding community with other dads who are walking through life together. Jeff shares the three C’s that are an important role of the father which Paige also shares in her takeaways at the end of the show.

- Dads have an important role in the family.
The Three C’s:
- Courage - Dads project trust in their kids. They need a good foundation in order to feel courage.
- Competence - We get to teach our kids things we know and are good at. If there is something we aren’t good at, invite other people who are good at those things into our kids' lives.
- Confidence - Creating rituals and traditions. Our kids need to be confident in relying on us.
- Spouses can support in ways like saying “thank you” for the things they have done. Seeing their value to the family and making it known. Be intentional about making them feel seen and known.
