Episode 74: An American Smashing In Goals in Slovenia; a chat w/ Brian Saramago

This weeks guest, Brian Saramago is stepping into the 11. Another product of the Red Bull Academy Brian credits his chance to trial with Red Bull to his best friend and current Red Bull first team player Omir Fernandez. He came and impressed and as they say, the rest is history. His story take him on a journey to a smaller patriot league school, Loyola, where as he says he just felt comfortable and at home from minute one. Even with other schools beckoning for his attention Brian chose the school that was the right fit for him and was an immediate breakout star. Following his collegiate career he was ready to make the jump to the pro game and while it would have been so fitting to return to Red Bull as a homegrown it was not destined to be. Listen in to hear how Brian adjusted, continued to work and patiently wait for the right opportunity to recognize his dream.
