Guilt is a normal emotion that can come up for us quite often. But it is important for us to realize that there is healthy AND unhealthy guilt. Healthy guilt can serve as a moral compass, reminding us of our values and guiding us toward ethical behavior. However, unhealthy or chronic guilt can be detrimental to our well-being, leading to self-blame or shame.
Today Mary will be exploring the emotion of guilt and how it impacts our ability to set boundaries with Sumita Vasudeva. They discuss how to recognize what is rational vs. irrational guilt and what to do when you notice guilt creeping in.
