Texas leads the country in trucking crash injury and death accidents.
Texas proposes bills that according to one Plaintiff Attorney "would make roads even more unsafe for Texas families as these bills shield commercial vehicle companies from liability in accidents, which makes it more difficult for Texans injured in accidents involving 18-wheelers and other commercial vehicles to obtain the compensation they deserve."
Verdicts and lawsuits have been wild, but if your family member was injured/killed by a truck would you want your ability to recover limited? Tough discussion.
