Happy EMS Week to all of our providers. Thank you for all you do day in and day out to protect the safety and health of our community.
Here in Madison County we are looking at how to advance EMS, but we can not do it alone. We need the support of not only of the public, and the County, but we need the support from the State. New York State Comptroller DiNapoli recently released a report stating that "more State involvement needed to address local Emergency Medical Services challenges." Madison County EMS was featured in that report for the work we are doing here.
