Jim Lavalle, Founder of Metabolic Code, joins host Keith Hanenian for episode 6 to discuss his career as a clinical pharmacist and how his career as a pharmacist at Kroger to creating the Lavalle Medical Institute and later becoming an educator and author.
Jim reflects on his family's medical history of diabetes and the dramatic impact it had on his career choice. Jim's days of bodybuilding and pharmacy school crossed over, fueling his aspirations to do more than just deliver medications.
Early in his career, he ultimately helped start Kroger's health foods brand. Today, he's written over 20 books, works with his University of Cincinnati, and speaks across the nation. He was named one of the “50 Most Influential Pharmacists” by American Druggist magazine and was one of only nine Americans selected to serve under Senator Harkin to participate in the inaugural Dietary Supplement Education Alliance & Dietary Supplement Information Bureau.
Together, he and Keith also speak about their engagement with Lifetime Fitness and the exploding industry of peptide therapy. Jim and Keith agree, lifestyle changes that must accompany pharmaceutical interaction and that staying the course will yield results.
