A staggering 80% of people over the age of 85 experience hearing loss, but only 1 out of 5 who could benefit from a hearing aid are using it. This creates a gap of over 60% people who remain unplugged from their environment. As a result, this barrier leads to increased social isolation, decreases in quality of life and ultimately comorbidities and negative long-term health outcomes.
