S 704: Beyond The Citations and Online Arguments: The Power of Integration and Application As A Fitness and Health Professional
Manage episode 433300463 series 2600190
One of the biggest issues I see right now in the evidence based health and fitness coaching space is the overemphasis of cherry-picking studies to prove your opinion right over actually helping people. Can these studies be helpful? Sure, but is it the only thing in coaching? Absolutely not. I'll explain why a focus on implementation and application far exceeds mere theory and why I think this is a big problem. Topics include:
- One Of The Biggest Oversights In Functional Health
- My Youtube Channel
- Helping People Over Citing Studies
- Irony Of Being The “Science” Guy
- Integration and Application
- Following The Science Means Still Being Wrong Sometimes
- Please Share, Rate, and Review
- Be Mindful Of The Ego
