Dr. Phil Garrison is a Licensed Acupuncturist and the director of the master's program at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas.
Phil attended Five Branches University, receiving a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Garrison followed with a 2-year doctorate from Pacific College of Health and Science (formerly PCOM), focusing his research on curriculum design around the Huang Di Nei Jing.
After his exposure to the Nei Jing in Chinese medicine university, Phil became very interested in the ancient and profound text, and now focuses on teaching ten key chapters. In this episode, join me as I learn more about the Huang Di Nei Jing's origins, makeup and clinical purpose. If you've ever wanted to tap into the 'Shen' or 'spirit' of the medicine, then this episode covers it.
