DEPRESIÓN OTOÑAL
¿Estás irritable y te falta energía? ¿Tienes más apetito? ¿Te apetece comer cosas dulces y especialmente chocolate?
No obstante podemos hacerle frente siguiendo algunas sencillas pautas:

AUTUMN DEPRESSION
Are you irritable and lack of energy? Do you have more appetite? Do you want to eat sweet things and especially chocolate? Has your daily activity decreased and you feel like going out and relating less? If you have any or all of these symptoms, it probably has to do with the arrival of fall and what experts call "seasonal affective syndrome".
This syndrome is nothing new, since ancient times the influence of the seasons on our humor was known. This fall in our state of mind that appears in the autumn, lasts during the winter and disappears when spring arrives, it is repeated year after year affecting mainly women, approximately 85% and in general to people who have a certain predisposition to suffer depression or similar disorders
The lack of natural light is one of the most important factors, it seems that the absence of sun and light influences our brain that produces less serotonin, hormone responsible for regulating our mood.
However, we can face it by following some simple guidelines:
Exercising and taking walks taking advantage of the hours of light, not letting us overcome laziness and catch us the sofa is essential. Stay active and take advantage of natural light.
Sleeping well will also help us maintain a good mood. Being disciplined with the hours of sleep, at least during the week, is another important factor.
Take care of your diet. Eat everything, legumes, meat, vegetables and fruit, a balanced diet will provide you with the energy you need.
And finally, do not lose touch with friends and family, go out, do things that you like, do not stay at home, stay active.
Follow these tips and do not let that feeling of "sadness" catch you. Regain your good mood and face this change of season in a positive way.
