Hey there surfers and beachgoers! Let's catch the wave on the latest surf zone forecast for the California coast!
Starting off in Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a moderate rip current risk today. Surf heights are looking good at 2 to 4 feet with a mix of west and south swells. So, get ready to hang ten and enjoy the waves!
Ventura County Beaches also have a moderate rip current risk today with similar surf heights of 2 to 4 feet. The water temperature is a bit chillier at 58 to 60 degrees, but hey, nothing can stop a true surfer from catching the perfect wave!
Moving down to Santa Barbara County, the rip current risk is low today. Surf heights are around 1 to 3 feet with a nice west swell rolling in. Don't underestimate those smaller waves - they can still provide some awesome rides!
Lastly, in San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, we're looking at surf heights of 3 to 5 feet today. The water might be a bit colder at 49 to 51 degrees, but who says you can't rock a wetsuit and still have a blast in the waves?
Remember, always keep an eye out for rip currents, especially on moderate risk days. Stay safe and have fun out there, surfers!
