The Ambassador discusses the many cultural influences and general happiness of the Dominican Republic people contrasts the democratic stability of the Dominican Republic with the chaos of its shared Hispaniola island neighbor Haiti and calls on France, Canada, and the United States to do more to aid Haiti, as the Dominican Republic has done for years.
