Women also soften their tone or inflection at the end of sentences, turning statements into questions. This habit can suggest you're seeking validation rather than making a decisive point.

While asking questions is important—especially to avoid burnout—the issue arises when this becomes the norm rather than the exception, especially in leadership roles. So, how can we ensure our language reflects professional power and confidence?
