Just talking about how the American "Child Support" agency does not need a parent to be present to get a judgement against them to start with, but they want parents to be present to turn off that judgement. Logic loses out to the law in America all the time. Any issue that you think would be logical does not matter at all. That gets shot right down every time in America, and the law wins. It does not matter that the solution does not make any sense at all. All that matters is that the law prevails.
