Season 3 Episode 6 – My guest is Kholofelo Kugler. Kholofelo is a Counsel at the Advisory Centre on WTO Law (ACWL) in Geneva, Switzerland, where she advises developing country Members and least-developed countries (LDCs) on all issues relating to WTO law. Kholofelo is originally from South Africa, and in our conversation, she talks about how she ended up in law school and how at one point she thought of becoming a diplomat. Her career eventually led to her getting involved with international economic law and Trade. She eventually made her way to the World Trade Institute for the MILE program and has been at the ACWL for over five years. She also talks about writing and editing a book on Trade from the South African perspective and her role as co-founder of the Trade Policy Exchange. It is fascinating to hear how she balances her work and manages to be involved with all the other work she is doing, on top of her family life. Please listen in to hear our conversation.
