March 6, 2016 - Lake County, Oregon - It was a normal morning for Mary Lee Kelley until she noticed that her 25-year-old, 50 foot Oregon Maple tree was missing from her back yard. It appeared to have been removed with large equipment yet she heard nothing throughout the night. The local sheriff's office responded and investigated, but unfortunately the investigation has lead to more questions than answers as this case still remains unsolved. The question that Mrs. Kelley and law enforcement seem to still be asking themselves... is why? Why would someone steal a tree?
