Mamoud Balla Kamara is a passionate advocate for gender equality and community development in Sierra Leone.
As the Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Movement for Sustainable Development Sierra Leone (YoMSuD-SL), Mamoud leads initiatives focused on empowering women, supporting teenage mothers, and promoting education in rural communities.
He is also the author of Journey In The Tunnel…In Search Of Light Through Transformation, a book inspired by the tragic loss of his sister, aimed at raising awareness about sexual and gender-based violence. Mamoud's work is driven by his commitment to transforming lives and uplifting marginalized communities through education, mentorship, and advocacy.
