You Are Worth The Work

"Mommy you should talk about spending time with us because you are always in our room," said one of my sons. But the more I thought about it, he was right! I try to be intentional and spend time with my sons. I have tried my best to create a safe space where they can talk to me and I can get to know them better. I want you to create these special pockets of time where you too can intentionally have TIME with your kiddos to get to know them and talk about their interests or what troubles them. As a twin, I don't think they want to do everything together, neither do your children collectively. After all, they are two separate people! Your daughter may not want to share thoughts around her brother. Nor does an older sibling want to dive into a topic with their 6-year-old sibling chiming in.
