Aisling Equine Therapy's mission is to provide a safe environment to experience the therapeutic value of horses that promotes personal growth, hope, healing and real life changes.
Paige Courtney is the Founder and Director. She is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. Paige began volunteering at an Equine Therapy center in 2011 as a horse leader and side walker for children and adults with special abilities, and in 2013 became a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. In 2018, she received her certification as a PATH Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning and took on the role of Director of Operations at a local center after stepping away from her career of 12 years as a 911 Dispatcher, which she just recently returned to in a part-time capacity.
While she loves all aspects of Equine Therapy, her passion lies with veterans, first responders, and their families. Because of this, in early 2022, she founded Aisling to focus her mission on sharing with them the life changes we can experience through building a relationship with the horse and providing a network of support by partnering with other foundations with the same goals. A Badge of Honor offers workshops to first responders across the nation, working with mental health liasons and critical incident management teams for Post Traumatic Stress Injury Recovery, wellness and resilience.
