WELCOME!!! To the Awake and Sober podcast, a podcast about life in recovery through Christ.

We have a GIVEAWAY starting this week!!! Please send us your testimony, and we will choose one of our lucky subscribers to send a brand new Tactile Turn pen!!! Our sponsor, Tactile Turn, has provided us with excellent products that we have to spread the word about!!!

For this giveaway, you must Like, Share, and be a Subscriber to our podcast!!!

In this episode, we talk about the nature of resentments, how they start, and how we can move past them.

We will go over how to identify if we are being resentful, how our relationships are affected, and how letting go of resentments can help alleviate stress, anxiety, and even physical health issues.

We also dive into the causes of resentments, including but not limited to betrayal, infidelity, lack of trust, unresolved conflicts, and unmet emotional needs.

All of us here at A&S deal with resentment and the aftermath in our careers and personal lives almost on a daily basis. We try to recognize and identify the best courses of action. Most of the time, we suggest seeing a therapist and getting to the root causes of the resentment at hand, identifying our own personal growth goals, and enacting a plan in order to better prepare us for when those resentful thoughts and emotions start to pop up.

We hope you enjoy the episode, and don't forget to email us at info@awakeandsober.org for any information or questions you might have!

A mainstay of our recovery stories is being completely honest with our support teams but, most importantly, honest with ourselves. How do we do that?

The answer is simple: we journal about our experiences, ideas, and goals. If you are anything like us, that means you journal A LOT and take a bunch of notes, so don't you deserve a great writing instrument?

We think you do, and we are happy to announce...

WE HAVE A NEW SPONSOR!!! We have been teasing it for a while, and we can finally say that Tactile Turn is the new sponsor of The Awake and Sober Podcast. If you want one of these incredible writing tools, click on the link and type in SOBER15 for the discount code, and you are on your way! If you haven't used a Tactile Turn pen yet, let's be honest: are you even writing?!?
