There is no exercise like running. It can give you a great workout in a relatively short amount of time. People who get into running often get addicted to it. Apart from the physical benefits running just makes you feel great.
No surprise that running has been shown to be advantageous for your mental health too.
However, for many the journey of becoming a runner can be difficult and full of potential set-backs such as injuries... especially so after we turn 40. The body changes and often it may seem that it simply cannot cope with that level of strain.
