Many parents today feel disconnected from the education system. With a great deal of trust, they send their kids to teachers who may feel unheard, be under resourced, or worse - be asked to teach curriculum in which they may be concerned about.
As a proud Woodstock parent of three, I announced my candidacy and started a run for the District 5 Cherokee County School Board position. I have been shocked at just how little I knew - how much trust I was putting in the system - and how our children and teachers must be supported and heard during this very challenging times.
Join me as I aim to gain your trust, share lessons learned from the campaign trail, and bring guests onto the show - giving parents a true idea of what is happening Cherokee County public schools.
