The idea that excessive stress is bad for your health is not news. But just how bad is it?

Well, according to today's guest, Neha Sangwan, a biomedical and mechanical engineer turned internal medicine physician, stress causes or exacerbates over 80% of all illnesses.

Even people who look at their lives and think they don’t have much reason to be stressed, especially compared to the people who have experienced way worse trauma than them, are typically downplaying the stress they have experienced..

This is what happened to Neha, who after burning out at just 34, has now decided to dedicate her life to helping others overcome stress and find balance.

In this episode, she will help us understand the root causes of stress, the significance of emotional trauma, and provide practical tools for overcoming stress.

“...Trauma [can] be like this catastrophic thing, or it can be this 'feeling alone' and not having your needs met, and it can be anything in the middle. And so there's not like, ‘oh, my trauma doesn't matter because other people's…’, no, each of us has our own, it's like a soul blueprint.” - Neha Sangwan
