Stop making excuses

It will never be the right time

It will never be the right time to quit your job, buy that course, hire your next employee, invest in yourself, go live on facebook/instagram, join a mastermind, raise your rates, ask him to marry you, etc

Things will never be perfect.

Perfection is not the goal.

Growth, learning, impact, progress, these are the things we are working for everyday.

All you’re doing is making an excuse to keep you safe from failure.

Making that same mistake again...

Having someone comment negatively on your post?

So what?

What’s truly going to happen if you make a mistake?

Stop worrying about what other people say.

I first heard this quote by Theadore Roosevelt from Brene Brown

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Here the excuses:

In order to make $20K/month I’m going to have to charge ridiculously high prices

You’re not charging higher prices. That’s the scacity mindset.

What you’re doing is increasing the value of what you offer before ever asking for more.

but let me ask you this, would you never pay that much to see yourself?

You can’t charge money for something you would never buy. That’s unethical.

I need to ask my spouse/partner

Does your spouse/partner support you in your growth?

If you have a healthy relationship, why do you think they would keep you from going after your dreams?

But I already have a coach? or I’ve already bought courses.

Ok, cool.

If you’re not growing your dying.

Do you have the results you want?

Or do you think after trying it a few times, coaching doesn’t work for you?

It’s kinda like saying “The physical therapy doesn’t work” I need surgery to fix my herniated disc.

Have you surpassed your goals?

Why didn’t your last coach help you create new goals?

Stop making excuses, take back your power and create your own future.

No one else is going to do the work for you. Set your eyes on a target, work with a coach to help you get there faster and stretch your beliefs, then stop at nothing to get there.
