Episodes like today are huge reminders for myself to keep going. I got passionate and meant every word. Discipline, pursuing excellence in my daily missions, and doing hard shit every day turned my life around. I don’t know how else to put it. Investing in self development will be the reason I become a multi millionaire before age 46 (which isn’t even half time). This is a no brainer. Work for the next 20 years relentlessly to then be given the opportunity to never work again for the next 60? And for those who say “you could die tomorrow, better humble yourself” or “the average lifespan is 75 years old, dumbass” or anything of the kind, my reply is this. Firstly, I’m not average. Chances are neither are you, dumb fuck. Second having that mentality of “i might not make it to 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120” or whatever the magic number is, doesn’t serve you whatsoever. What good does that do ANYBODY? I’d rather live a life full of exciting ambition and die 50 years early than settle and live to 300 years old. It’s simply a no brainer.

Anyway, with that out of the way, I’m starting a 16-week cut. Here’s some quick details, goals, and reasoning.

Starting: 204.4lbs

Goal: Lose 16lbs of fat & see my abs again.

Reasoning: Want to document the day to day through the program that I will be advising clients through in the future. A daily video for them every day of the program. No other trainer does that, no one else puts that much effort into their programs or their clients success. And no one else thinks of things like this. Thus, I stand out in the marketplace with a more valuable offer.

This is also a “twofer” (two for one) where I’m able to simultaneously work on my program and my business at the same time. Shit, there’s so many benefits that come from this. I get practice being on camera, sharing insightful info, talking to someone (potentially) struggling, providing inspiration to others, and strengthening the trust between my clients and I. I’m literally doing the program with them, side by side, day by day.

This program might take me a while to develop and sculpt into the killer offer that it will be, but once it is done, the next phase of the journey starts – sales. So you can expect a lot more Sales Chronicles from there on out. For now, have my cringey fedex review requests. It’s progress, even in the smallest form.

So, I’m committing to the 16-week cut. Not even thinking about it or considering what I’ll “miss out on”. Just focusing on hitting my macros, hitting my lifts, drinking water, and sleeping well – today. Going to do that 111 more days in a row, period.

Through this though (i didn’t talk about this in the show), I’ll have Phase 3 of Live Hard to do, and probably my second year of Live Hard (which is another round of 75 Hard). Phase 3 will end around the 6 week mark. If I take a week or two off and start up, I’ll finish 75 Hard 1-2 weeks after I finish my 16 week cut. Which means I’d be doing 75 Hard through a wedding and bachelor party. Which, in my eyes, is such a great challenge to see where my discipline really lies. I don’t see it any other way. What am I missing out on?

Perspective is skewed I think for most people. Societal values and desires are adopted by those with the inability to carefully think for themselves. I’d like to think I’m escaping that realm of thought and breaking into otherwise contrarian views, but views that I whole heartedly believe in. Which is a bundle of growth, courage, and development in and of itself.

Anyway, thanks for listening. You guys rock.
