Manage episode 332709691 series 3358405
Jessie shares her story of her beautiful daughter. Soon after she found out she was pregnant she was hit with morning sickness. As she geared up for her first prenatal visit, she was met with news that she was not as far along as she thought and the dread came through as she continued to battle morning sickness, severe nausea, and vomiting. As weeks progressed and she was hopeful for the second trimester, she continued to suffer from severe morning sickness. She noticed she was suffering from prenatal depression and sought help from a mental health counselor. She was anxious to meet her baby girl and scheduled an induction at 39 weeks but did everything she could to induce labor naturally. She went in for the induction, and was slow to progress as they started the process. In the morning, things turned around and she progressed to a 10 in a short time frame. After pushing for 29 minutes she finally met her beautiful baby girl. Baby girl did have some respiratory issues but was all cleared after some antibiotics. Her postpartum experience has been positive overall after struggling so much during pregnancy.
