In this episode, Nikki and Rachael go over the speakers and topics from the CFA conference from June 2023

Sue Todd shared about gratitude and how gratitude has had such an impact on her daily life. She has been posting publicly her daily gratitude for over 10 years!

Jean-Claude Villeneuve, owner of BoreA Canada went over the sustainability, and eco-responsibility for the essential oils and hydrolats that they distill in the Boreal forest in Quebec.

Julie Clark shared her experience of building a skincare brand, Province Apothecary, and getting it to reach global markets.

Julie Fischer shared her personal journey of breast cancer and how aromatherapy played a role in her health wellness and recovery.

Danielle Sade brought us all through a journey of using essential oils in guided imagery. Using scent as a metaphor, we can use essential oils to picture what images we can visualize ourselves.

Benoit Roger, the owner of Alchemia Solutions, shared how various parameters for the plant being distilled can affect the essential oil yield and chemical composition, along with steam distillation vs water distillation.

Linda Prussick, shared with us how her role as Complimentary Therapist, she can offer aromatherapy in Palliative and End of life facilities.

During the event, we were also able to check out the aromatherapy products from Pranarom - Scientific aromatherapy,, BoreA Canada - essential oils, and Organic Aromas

The 30th-anniversary conference was an amazing day to connect with aromatherapist colleagues that we have known for years and create new connections with those that we just met for the first time.
