We have been disinfecting surfaces, washing our hands, and wearing face masks. But are we properly washing our clothes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic? We know the virus can live on different surfaces for hours or even days. So it is vital to do the laundry the right way to potentially disperse viruses sticking out on your clothing.
In this episode, I speak with Frankie Layton from The Dirt Company - an Australian business selling eco-friendly laundry detergent. She gives us heaps of tips on how to properly wash our clothes, how to care for different types of fabrics. And one that's very relevant right now, is how washing your clothes can help sterilize and make your clothes more hygienic, especially around combating viruses.
